Join our Finance team as a International Accountant and contribute to the exciting challenge of managing our international accounting operations.

As part of our Finance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate accounting across multiple international entities within our Odoo ERP system. Please note:

  • This is an on-site position based in Barcelona.

What will be your responsibilities?
International Accounting

  • Ensure accurate day-to-day accounting and maintenance of international entities in Odoo ERP (Italy, Germany, France, Portugal, Korea).
  • Oversee monthly closings and reconciliations, ensuring data integrity and consistency with group standards.
  • Manage fatturazione elettronica, Intrastat, VAT settlements and Modelli F24, ensuring timely execution.
  • Coordinate with external advisors for tax filings and statutory obligations, ensuring full compliance with Italian regulations.
  • Maintain a strong and proactive relationship with local accounting and tax advisors.
  • Act as the main point of contact between HQ Finance and external partners in Italy.

International Scope & Process Ownership

  • Support the accounting of other international subsidiaries when needed.
  • Ensure consistency of accounting processes across entities within Odoo.
  • Identify and implement improvements in accounting workflows and controls.
  • Support internal reporting and group consolidation processes.

Minimum requirements

What are we looking for?

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3–4 years of experience in accounting roles, ideally with exposure to Italian and international entities.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems.
  • Experience working with external advisors (accounting/tax firms).
  • Ability to manage day-to-day accounting operations independently.
  • Advanced Spanish and Italian will be highly valued.
  • Good level of English for internal communication.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, international environment.

Nice to have:

  • Previous experience managing multiple entities or international subsidiaries.
  • Familiarity with group reporting or consolidation processes.
  • Proactive mindset with a focus on process improvement and efficiency.
